Stuart Bowditch As one would expect from James, beautiful, emotive and textural ambience of the highest order. Favorite track: Nothings.

Sina best enjoyed early in the morning, whilst eating porridge. I'm not always one for ambient sounds, but this album can be appreciated both as a complete body of work, or by listening to individual tracks. forces you to sit down and reflect, whether you like it or not Favorite track: Feathers.

TMW Beautiful textures in an improvised form. This is sound at its purest wrapped up in an interesting concept. It's a journey like experience; calming yet emotive. Lovely stuff as usual! Favorite track: Feathers.

about

This album is a collection of improvisations recorded across what is from my perspective one of the bleakest times in this country's recent history.

It is a reflection on the crushing sanctions and initiatives that have been inflicted on those most at need, in full knowledge that huge damage is being done to protect the excessive needs of the few. The crisis this is creating encompasses issues of mental health, poverty and basic protection of human rights.

That's not to say it's without moments of light. As is the way with all things, light has to be found in the darkness, and it is there if you search for it.

Be kind to one another.
